Mercy The Officiant

Mercy the Officiant is a Chicago bilingual wedding and quinceañera officiant who has led more than 400 ceremonies over seven years, blending English, Spanish and meaningful traditions. She writes each ceremony around the couple's story, from heartfelt personal vows to el lazo and las arras, and has woven in Filipino traditions such as the candles, veil and cord. Recent ceremonies include Beau Chateau, Mesón Sabika, Rockwell on the River and an outdoor ceremony at Hangout Lighting. She is also the founder of Novias y Cafecito, a gathering space for Latina brides.
