Let Them Eat Cakes

Let Them Eat Cakes is the St. Charles home bakery of self-taught cake artist Ava Abbott, making custom wedding cakes, cutting cakes with cupcakes, cookie spreads and dessert tables for weddings, showers, birthdays and graduations across Chicagoland. Everything, including fillings and a natural butter-based American buttercream, is made from scratch with natural flavorings. Recent cakes range from an all-white five-tier design at Fishermen's Inn to cascading fall florals at Acquaviva Winery. The bakery was named The Knot Best of Weddings 2026, Best of Zola 2026 and a WeddingWire Couples' Choice winner for 2026.
